Role Purpose
The Senior Executive-Inventory will be responsible for end-to-end inventory control across
company’s warehouses, and operator’s locations. The role ensures the right items are available
at the right time, while maintaining accuracy, minimizing losses, and supporting operational
efficiency and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Control & Tracking:
a) Maintain accurate item-wise records in the ERP/inventory system (e.g.,
Xero, Zoho).
b) Track receipts, issues, transfers, and returns across all operators and Jatri
locations.
c) Perform scheduled stock counts (cycle count & full count) and reconcile
variances.
d) Tag and track assets.
e) Classify items (fast/slow/obsolete) and propose actions.
2. Coordination with Operations & Procurement:
a) Work closely with Operations to forecast material requirements.
b) Raise purchase requests based on approved reorder levels.
c) Monitor delivery timelines and ensure GRN (Goods Received Note)
posting.
d) Verify quantity, quality, and documentation before acceptance.
e) Follow up with vendors on shortages, damages, or replacements.
3. Compliance, Controls & Audit Support:
a) Ensure adherence to SOPs and internal control procedures.
b) Maintain complete documentation (PO, GRN, issue slips, adjustment
approvals).
c) Support internal/external audits and implement corrective actions.
d) Ensure proper method is followed to avoid wastage.
e) Support compliance relating to VAT/Tax documentation where applicable.
4. Reporting & Systems:
a) Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports and dashboards.
b) Highlight stock-outs, excess inventory, shrinkage, and damaged items.
c) Support system enhancements and process automation.
d) Provide management with actionable insights to reduce costs.
5. Operations Support:
a) Ensure stock availability for projects, deployments, and maintenance
teams.
b) Maintain safe, organized storage; monitor environmental and security
controls.
c) Guide and supervise storekeepers/assistants where required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or related field.
3–5 years of practical inventory/warehouse experience (tech/service preferred).
Experience with Inventory tools (i.e. - Zoho, Xero, etc.).
Strong Excel/reporting capability.

Working Conditions
Office-based role with some visits to hubs/warehouses.
Extended hours may be required during audits or stock counts or any operational needs.
