Executive, Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our Retail and Distribution Vertical at Jatri Services Limited. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure data integrity, produce meaningful reports, and support the organization's growth through evidence-based analysis.

 Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance systems.
• Prepare and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for management.
• Track key business reports such as P&L and KPIs including sales growth, market share, distribution coverage, and inventory turnover.
• Analyze consumer behavior, promotional effectiveness, and pricing trends to support strategic decisions.
• Support demand forecasting and sales planning through data-driven insights.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to understand and fulfill data requirements.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve overall business performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systems and platforms.
• Automate reports and continuously improve data processes where possible.

 Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a data analysis role.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets — including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Meta Base, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. (Candidates with Meta Base experience will receive priority consideration.)
• Working knowledge of both Relational and Non-Relational database management systems.
• Good understanding of sales and distribution data in Digital Transportation solution environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and visually accessible manner.
