Senior Product Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own design end to end across Jatri and Saafir's
travel and fintech products. You will shape user experiences from zero to one, working across booking
flows, B2B agency, supplier and corporate portals, and payment journeys. You will also play a central role
in building Saafir's design language for the GCC and global markets.
This role reports to the Director of Product Development and works closely with Product Managers,
Engineers, and Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & UX

• Own end to end design for core Saafir products: Chauffeur, Stays, Payment Wallet, Admin Panel,
  Corporate Portal, and Supplier Portal.
• Lead discovery, user research, journey mapping, and problem definition in collaboration with
  Product Managers.
• Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens.
• Translate complex OTA and payment workflows into intuitive and elegant user experiences.
• Design for both web and mobile (iOS and Android) across B2C and B2B contexts.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers during roadmap planning, sprint kickoffs, and backlog
  refinement.
• Work closely with engineers during implementation, providing redlines, assets, and design QA.
• Present design decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership, backed by data and user insights.
• Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly based on findings.

Strategic Contribution

• Identify friction points across the product experience and proactively propose improvements.
• Contribute to product strategy by bringing a user centered perspective into roadmap and feature
  discussions.
• Stay current with design trends in travel tech, fintech, and GCC consumer behavior.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or UX design experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end to end design work from research to shipped product across
  web and mobile.
• Expert level proficiency in Figma including components, auto layout, prototyping, and design
  systems.
• Experience designing complex transactional or multi step flows such as booking, checkout,
  payment, and onboarding.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum product teams with close collaboration with developers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and defend design decisions.
  Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in travel tech such as OTA, ride hailing, hotel booking, or fintech such as wallet,
  payments, and remittance
• Familiarity with GCC market dynamics, Arabic RTL design, or multilingual product design
• Experience building or scaling a design system from scratch
• Exposure to B2B product design including admin panels, supplier or partner portals, and
  dashboards
• Working knowledge of front-end constraints including HTML and CSS awareness and developer
  handoff best practices
• Experience conducting user research in non-English or multilingual contexts
